Thanks for the script! I modified it to take a direction parameter and work like the shift key if the direction is the same as the selection.

It sounds like you’re looking at the global settings, rather than the file settings – both are listed on the preferences menu.

I guess since I upgraded I didn’t get an updated file settings? It definitely doesn’t include caret or highlight_line, I’m running on 2091. It does however have use_simple_full_screen.
Setting highlight_line to true also doesn’t seem to work for me.

Ed: take a look at the default file settings (available via the preferences menu) for a list of all settings and a description of each. If you search that file for caret_style you’ll find a listing of the available options.

You can enable line highlighting with the highlight_line setting

What are the other Caret styles? Can I have one that’s solid? I’m also having problems getting line highlighting back, what’s the setting?

Love the addition of Lion-style full-screen. However, when using overlay scroll bars, there’s no longer any kind of visible divider between panes, making all layouts other than “single” very confusing. I’d suggest that there be, at the very least, a 1px black divider between panes by default.

Is there a zipped alternative for the windows installer linked to on the http://www.sublimetext.com/2 page? Our IT dept blocks exe file downloads. I suppose I can try out the portable version and run it from my local drive (USB drives blocked as well).
