While I quite like the vertical tabs idea, I use a portrait monitor for code, so horizontal space is a premium. Will this be configurable?

hello again,

i've played around a little bit with sublime text 1.4 on osx using wine. it's really fun. i have two questions though:

- why do we have a vertical scroll-bar, when we have the minimap, which indeed could replace the scroll-bar? (just move it to the right, but i think you've already done this, when i look at the sublime text x screens?)
- could we please get bigger screenshots of sublime text x? thanks! :-)

kind regards,

stumbled over this editor by accident -- looks very interesting, i especially like this minimap feature very much. looking forward to the mac osx release -- i think i would by a license, if it get's to a state, where it's somehow usable (late alpha or early beta). anyway -- keep up the good work!

As SublimeText X (2) is still in early development I think it might be a good idea to say that Sublime would greatly benefit from doing this: http://e-texteditor.com/blog/2010/beyond-vi

Comming from VIM I really miss modal editing.

X looks great. Once it becomes usable for daily use and maybe even sooner, I will definitely buy a copy.

I have an CAD type application to convert to some cross-platform GUI library so I was wondering if you are using a GUI library like wxWidgets or GTK and if you had any difficulties embedding Python?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Good idea,

i will check out 1.4 with Wine. I have problems using the tab-Key. But maybe I figure it out.

Marco,

You can run Sublime Editor v1.4 under Wine in Linux, or better still - you can test Sublime X and support the native Linux build by purchasing a genuine copy!
