Jump back one whole file at a time?

#1

Is there any way to jump back an entire file in your navigation history with one command? I know about “jump back” Alt±, but I’m looking for something that does the equivalent but does it one file at a time.

Thanks

A little question about navigation

I also need this function.
I’d be nice to have these options:
*Jump Back
*Jump Forward
*Jump Back in Files
*Jump Forward in Files

is alt+tab and alt + shift + tab what you are looking for?

I’m on windows, alt+tab/alt+shift+tab jumps between applications (nothing to do with sublime text)…

On OSX/ST3 it’s

ctrl+tab

or

ctrl+shift+tab

ctrl+tab goes back a whole file in navigation history like I’m expecting (thanks for the tip), but ctrl+shift+tab doesn’t seem to go forward…its changing files, but I’m not sure what strategy it is following…

I think this may help you use it like traditional tabs are used
