I’ve been given a bitbucket repository to use, but as I have not had much experience with git, perhaps just local git, I don’t know what to do.

I have all the necessary plugins such package control and git for sublime, but when I try to Add Repository with my url it just says “Added Successfully.”
What exactly should happen? I know that manually typing git clone and the url will actually download the files to whichever directory.

How can I get the files off the repository to my computer and have my commits update to bitbucket?
