Save on Build

Save on Build

Postby ArtDesire on Wed Jul 31, 2013 7:57 am

Hi,
Is there a way to save a file automatically before build?
What I mean is, if I check "Save All on Build", it will try to save all files before building only one.
If I'm uncheck that, it will now save any file; i.e. pressing "Build" after editing without pressing "Save" doesn't make sense.

I agree, it would be nice to have just "save only just this current file before build".

As a stopgap solution - there is perhaps "run_multiple_commands" plugin. Could remap build entries in Default\Default.sublime-keymap and Default\Default.sublime-commands and Default\Main.sublime-menu files to to do save and build commands both.

Thank you. That's kinda weird that ST saves all files before building only one. Even though it works right, but it works in a strange way.
