Why not work on package dependencies (which are needed) instead of web site animations (which are annoying) ?

Because Package Control is an open source project and I get to set some of my own priorities. I haven’t yet had the need for dependencies (not a trivial thing in a shared-global-namespace language like Python). The issue to discuss dependencies has been open for quite a while with very little input from package developers. I take this as a sign that other people have about as much interest in it as I do.
