Any way to bind mouse keys to actions?

#1

Hello,

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I searched through the forums and couldn’t find anything.

Anyway, I’m new to Sublime Text and I love it so far. I was wondering if there was a way to map special mouse buttons to actions? For example, I have back / forward buttons on my mouse (for easy navigation of web pages) and it would be awesome to bind those to switching between next and previous open files.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance.

There isn’t a way to do it yet, no. May I suggest submitting the idea to sublimetext.userecho.com/?

You could do it with autohotkey. Just setup bindings that are restricted to sublime and map to the shortcuts for changing tabs:
