Hi I am completely new. This is my first time and I love Sublime so far. But I have a question.

So I can download a free “evaluation” right? But how long until it expires? I’m really confused and am not sure if this has been asked or said some where so sorry for any inconvenience. I’m a noob

Thank you for answering. Basically, remember how it says you have to purchase a license for continued use. Well what if I just keep on using the free evaluation one. There’s no time limit right? Can’t I just keep writing and writing programs, all with the free one or is there some hidden catch?

Sublime is free to evaluate but not for continued use. You can test the full app without a time limit, but you should pay for it as soon as you can if you’re going to stay with it.

It works on an honesty model. By paying you are supporting the developer work so he can make a living on it, even though you aren’t enforced to do so.
