Thanks. That was very helpful. I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be notified of any responses so apologies for the late reply. I am on a Mac.

SublimeLinter3 has a debug entry in its menu that will show you what sublime is seeing as its path in the sublime console. It wasn’t showing up there so I did a clean reset of sublime3 and it came back again.

I’ve had to do a clean reset a few times when things got out of whack. Not sure why but many problems disappear when I do. Since the reset works the problems must be introduced by plugins that I try out.
