Vintage mode lost cursor with apostrophe key press

#1

I’m trying to get more comfortable with using Vintage mode with Sublime. Accidentally pressing the apostrophe (’) key twice makes my cursor disappear. I don’t know where it goes and I can’t get it back by hitting ESC. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it says “0 selection regions” at the bottom.

Does anyone (more familiar with VI) know what is going on here?

In command mode, apostrophe- goes to the mark set by the register for . The cursor disappears because you don’t have a mark assigned to the apostrophe register.

Try hitting m- to set a mark and then hitting - to move the cursor to that mark.
