First I want to say I know about the DefaultFileType plugin, but its for newly created files only.

I am looking for a way to set syntax highlight of my choosing(generic config) to any and all files that sublime text does not recognize.

Thinking and googling, isnt there a way to tinker with “plain text” syntax or its highlight?
