Vintage

Hi all,

I have been using Vintage mode for a long time, I feel sad to see it not being maintained.
The replacement Vintageous has several subtle differences from Vintage that I cannot really get used to.
(for example shift + A/I in visual mode)

Does anyone know if there is any chance that this plugin can get some maintenance again?

Or, is that an option that https://github.com/SublimeText can make a fork of it and start maintaining it (and list it as a plugin on package control) ?
(myself just recently became a maintainer on https://github.com/SublimeText because I felt sad seeing https://github.com/SublimeText/RSpec not being maintained for a year, so I started maintaining it)
I don’t mind being the maintainer if the option above is valid.

Regards,
Po

Vintage comes with ST, so it’s not a separate project, per se. The licensing terms may prohibit you from forking it and starting a new project - I’d contact sales@sublimetext.com and see if they can help you. However, there’s nothing preventing you from forking Vintageous and making your own changes.

OK, so I finally decided to do this. https://github.com/SublimeText/Vintage-Extended-Support

It is online now, as VintageES (Vintage Extended Support), already merged some fixes and improvements in. Please send more issues / PRs to this repo.
