I just started using Sublime and hear it is one of the best text editors. Also, saw that development is slow or stopped. I never did see if it is dead or not. Personally, I don’t use as much as some of you guys. But, even if it is the very best one, the price is way too high. If it was priced around $40, the total amount of money would probably be more in the end. Times are tough and $70 for a text editor is off the charts.

Maybe atom.io is an option for you? It’s not a SublimeText clone, but pretty close and it is actively developed and free.

I still prefer Sublime, but it’s unfortunately going the way of the dodo.

tux, could you please turn off the overly colorful png signature? It’s pretty annoying when reading through threads.

You might want to disable displaying signatures in your board preferences.
edit: but I might replace it.
