with ST2, I can quit the app and when it reopens, ST remembers the last project I was working on. This doesn’t seem to be the case with ST3? Am I missing something? Thanks

Check your user settings for “hot_exit”. It should be set to true or not at all (and use the default instead).

I have “hot_exit” set to false but it still does not work with Windows (OK with Mac) on build 3093

Well, that’s your problem.

Actually there is a hidden option “remember_open_files” which you must set to true.

Here is the relevant description for this from devbuild changelog:
