There is a very serious bug related to editing Unicode files with BOM markers. On several occasions, the file edited looks fine after saving, but after reopening it, the file is empty! There is no error messages or anything. I fortunately keep backups, so I didn’t lose anything but the latest saves (annoying, but I can deal), but someone else might not be so lucky.
