A sane forum system would help too.

Spam bots work on virtually every forum system.

I clean the forum up almost every single day, most days it’s multiple times.

I’m a moderator on a forum very much bigger than this one. Most of the spam that we see gets dealt with in no more than two minutes of it appearing. We always have several moderators on-line on a 24 hour basis.

May be that’s what people are expecting here? I’m not criticising. Just offering an opinion on why some users may be posting the way they are…

Not nearly good enough. This weekend had tons of spam for hours.

No surprise, given the fact that spammers don’t even have to handle a registration mail when adding a new account. Ridiculous.

It could be worse. This isn’t my (or any other moderators) fulltime job.

Report the topics/posts in question and I’ll deal with it.

I’m locking this topic… After this post, there was easily over 300 spam topics created in one sub-forum - it’s suspicious to me.
