How to display hidden characters in the latest dev build

#1

Hi,

I can’t find the menu option for displaying hidden characters (i.e. tabs, spaces, etc) in the latest dev build of Sublime. I could have sworn it was there last week, maybe I need some sleep :smile: Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

User file settings:

"draw_white_space": "all"

Not sure if this has changed in last two months or so.

Thanks! I suddenly love the coolness of this program…

is it possible to differentiate between “spaces” and “tabs”?

also, is there any way to map the “up” arrow key to the beginning of the line, and the “down” arrow key to the end of the line?

Thanks!

Look at the keybindings for Home and End and just set up and down to the same things.

This works, but not sure I understand. This is not the kind of thing that one generally wants to keep turned on (i.e. not something that one would want to set as a setting). It’s something you toggle on quickly and then off again (Cmd-Opt-I in TextMate) to quickly see whether there are any invisible chars that need tending to. How would one get similar functionality in Sublime Text?
