Coda Style FTP Navigation

Coda Style FTP Navigation

Postby Forbin on Sun Nov 27, 2011 12:26 am

I have high hopes to replace Coda with ST2. The critical feature in Coda is its FTP side navigation (with dynamic menu of saved ftp sites). What makes Coda unique and wonderful in that it DOES NOT require a #*%#! project to be created in order to edit remote files on an ftp server. I hoped that Sublime SFTP would provide this functionality, but it does not seem that way. Does anyone know if this feature is in the offing??? Or is ST2 going to just another project based ide?

First of all, Sublime SFTP is a plugin developed by Will Bond (wbond), not by jps, the developer of ST2. If you have a feature request, you can talk to wbond, or post in his Plugin Announcement. Second, ST2 can't really be classified as an IDE... it's a text editor.
