As the title says, am I able to disable Open Files in the sidebar by default? I this was made default in build 2120 but I am using the latest & I see no setting for it (btw I know about the View>Sidebar menu item)…

It can be disabled via the View/Side Bar/Hide Open Files. When creating a new window, it will inherit the current Show/Hide Open Files state from the current/last window.

No setting is required.

Go to top menu…
View ->Side bar

And disable the option “Show Open Files”
