How does one go about getting support for editing a maven pom file? By support I mean contextually aware autocompletion of element names and attributes, as well as validation of the structure. Is this avaible now? If not what components would have to be created to support it?

There would need to be a syntax highlight definition and probably snippets. Google for Textmate language definitions if you can’t find it specifically for ST.
