Is there any way around this behaviour:

if the autocomplete menu/drop-down has puntuation(in this case / ) in the words they are displayed just fine as expected but if you happen to type a slash then the menu is hidden. Additionally, I guess as a side-effect of its behaviour, it inserts a complete copy of the autocompletion option that was selected if you press return instead of completing what was already typed. TIA
