Rename HTML tag

Rename HTML tag

Postby arek1 on Tue Jun 26, 2012 8:35 am

Hi All,

Is there any way to fast rename HTML tag in file. For example in Dreamweaver if I put cursor somewhere inside H3 tag and press Ctrl+Shift+B (Command "Rename tag" from Zen coding extension) it open small dialog to put new tag. So back to my example if I going to change <h3> to <p>:
1.Put cursor inside H3 tag
2.Press CTRL+Shift+B
3.Press p
and ready. It is much faster than go to opening h3 change it to p, next go to closing h3 and change it to p either.

Best wishes

If you install zen package on sublime, ctrl+shift+a will do this :)

And there is also always cmd+D (in case you don't want to install ZenCoding) which could help in situations like that.
