I’m wondering about the issue of keeping plugins updated, and the process. Is there some way of auto-checking to see if there’s been an update or revision to a plugin?

And if not, how does one go about updating a plugin? Uninstalling the plugin and then reinstalling it from Package Control?

auto update is a feature of package manager.
each time you start sublime package managers checks plugins repositories for updates and install them.
