Formatting *.txt Files

#1

Hey All,

I love using plain old txt files for all my notes and docs.

Rather than have them auto wrap, I like them wrapped to 80 chars.

the default Alt-Q doesn’t do as good a job as Komodo does of recognizing my existing formatting. (Indention, dashes as dot points etc ect. )

Does anybody know of a plugin that does a better job of auto formatting txt files?

Jay.

I just recently put one together. I haven’t put together an easy way to download/install, yet. Was planning it submit it to Package Control once I felt like it was stable, but if you want to try it, you can get it here:

Cheers sapphirehamster,

I have it installed and it seems to work well. Just what I was looking for!

This one should be included by default if you ask me!

Thanks very much for your hard work!

Jay.

Oh, you know what would be really cool, if this were to run as I type. Or would that be weird. Not sure.

Anybody know an easy way to make a command run every keystroke.

I would like to know if your code solves this problem:

Thank you very much in advance.
