Is it possible to have same file open at different positions in split screen groups?

Yes. Select the menu item “File”->“New view into File”

Also, you can use the goto anything from inside a layout cell/group other than the one containing the file you wish to clone.

I’m not a fan of the behaviour but it’s there to exploit.

But still have a couple more suggestions to the split view behavior.

1 Would be nice to have a synchronized ‘doubleclick’ word selection hint reflected in all file instances. Currently it selects only in active tab. Same corresponds to FindAll highlighting.

2 Would be even better to have same functionality with different files open in split view. i.e. double clicking would highlights all similar words in all views.
