Is there any way to specify default settings for new windows? Currently when I open a new window, it inherits the settings of the previously focused window. This means if I’m in a project I get another near-full-screen window with 2 columns, a tab bar and sometimes the sidebar. What I normally want though is just a small, stripped-down window with an editing area, status bar, and nothing else. Just a place to jot down some ideas, dump clipboard data, etc.

Most(all?) of the desired settings appear in the .sublime-workspace files, which makes sense since Sublime needs that info to reconstruct windows on launch. Hoping that that there is some undocumented way to add those same settings to my preferences file?

Note: I’m not talking about distraction free mode, I want to use the new window alongside my currently open project.
