Guys! Is it legal to use Sublime Text 2 for commercial?

#1

In company i’m working there some rules, only free software can be installed! i’m just junior developer, so it’s too expensive for now to buy licence, but i love this application! So I’ll repeat: can we use sublime text2 for commercial purposes in in trial(evaluated) mode? It would be great if someone from ST2 support will answer! Thanks, with regards)

To me it seems like that should be fine long as you have a license per-user.

Free as in freedom (open-source) or free as in beer? You can download and evaluate Sublime for free without an enforced time limit, however a license must be purchased for continued use.

Thanks for replies!

I think the second one! Admin said me, that i can use any application, if it’s legal, installed without cracks or patches, so that ST2 vendor won’t make a complaint to company i’m working in!

Buy a license and you should be able to use it freely for commercial purposes.
