This question is very vague and I don’t really understand what you’re looking for.

If you’re talking plural like dog/dogs, wolf/wolves, etc., then that’d probably be next to impossible, unless you were checking everything against a dictionary.

BUT, rereading your first post, it sounds more like you’re looking to delete the “the” in “He was going to the the store.”? In which case, it could likely be done, or even just use a find-and-replace regex.
