In general, ST2 operates pretty perfectly … except 2 above problems

I don’t know how to disable it?

Issue 1: update the damn program!
Issue 2: Do exactly what it says to you: open Preferences -> User Settings and add this at the end: “detect_slow_plugins”: false

Don’t be silly. Updates means bug fixes and features. There is not good reason NOT to update.
