saving issues

i am new to sublime so sorry if this question is so basic. but i can't seem to save my document. i get an error each time. what am i doing wrong and how should i be saving?!

It would help if you said what the error message was

Check the Console as well (Ctrl ' (apostrophe) or back-tick) for any other error messages.

it just says

Unable to save /untitled.html

Are you trying to save somewhere you don't have permissions? From the error message, I would guess you are trying to save to the root directory (where, as a normal user, you don't have permission). Try saving to your user directory (which will be something like /home/USERNAME/ where USERNAME is the name of your user account).
