Up arrow in multiline find erases my whole search string!

Up arrow in multiline find erases my whole search string!

Postby synapticmishap on Sun Dec 02, 2012 2:23 pm

I'd edited a complex multiline regular expression and pressed up on the keyboard, only for Sublime to change the find string to the last used find string I wanted.

That lost me all my work. A few minutes later I did the same thing again.

If you must use up/down for search history, please make it so that up/down retains the most recent pattern I've entered.

I concur and it's quite annoying. The current string should be remembered in the up/down list whether or not it's been "submitted".

This really is irritating, uncharacteristic of an otherwise great editor. Agree 100%.
