Hide minimap by default

#1

Is there a setting to hide the minimap by default?

It’s inconvenient to View > Hide Minimap (or use command pallete) for every window I open.

I’m on Windows and it remembers that the mini-map is closed (or open) when I choose File, New Window, or similar. I haven’t changed any setting so I’m not sure why your set-up behaves differently: soz.

Though not a perfect solution, you can also bind the toggle command to a key. Something along the lines of the following will work.

[pre=#272822]{“keys”: “ctrl+alt+t”], “command”: “toggle_minimap”}[/pre]

I’m on ubuntu and it doesn’t remember a thing :cry:

I am surprised, that there’s not a setting for this. Considering the overall configurability…
