For some reason I changed the name to Sublime Text (3009).app on the update.

I haven’t had the chance to look into this yet, but from previous reports it seems this only happens when using the auto updater. If you download a fresh version, it should be fine.

I’m seeing the same issue here.
ST3 was renamed to “Sublime Text (3009).app” and there’s a “Sublime Text.app” with no icon that can’t be opened.
I used the auto updater. Running on OS X 10.8.2.
