Opening files in separate windows

#1

Hello,

I’m trying to switch to Sublime 2 as my new default text editor, but somehow I cannot force it to the behavior I have with gvim right now.
In short, I want it to open each file in a separate window, except for when a file is open already – then it should raise the window instead.
I can force it to open files in new windows with the -n flag, but that will also open already opened files in new windows, leading to having the same file open multiple times.

I searched the configuration and this forum for anything that would make it behave like that, but so far without success. I’m using the linux version.
Is it possible to configure Sublime 2 like that?
