No options in context menu in side bar except close

I read and see all over the web people having way more options when right clicking a file in the side bar such as rename, close, etc. Why do I only have the option to close? I am running the latest version(not dev). Please help!

Add a folder to your project. Then right click files\folders under the "Folders" header.
