Under windows when I want to open a file or save a new file and I am in the wrong directory I have no way to navigate to the right directory other than to click on the file path, delete part of it then click on the directory i want to be in.
for example. i want to open the file "my_project/source_files/module_1/file.c but i am in the module_2/foo/bar/bam directory. I have to click on the file path in the "open file" window, delete the "module_2/foo/bar/bam" part then click on the module_1 directory and then the file i want.
Under Linux I have a "move up one directory" button within the file selector which I know is available under windows too but is not being shown.
