I’m running Ubuntu 12.10 / Gnome3 classic style - my laptop’s graphics are weak.

A somewhat of an oddity, I had been trying to get sublimelinter to work on my computer, and it was flatly refusing to do so, I wanted to see if there were console messages so instead of launching via my shortcut on my desktop, I launched from the command line.

After doing this it worked splendidly, albeit with a bit of a launch pause the first time it fired up the linter, I can handle that I suppose. But i’m kind of baffled as to why.

I created a bash script to try to launch sublimetext from, which again works from the command line, but not from the shortcut. I’m assuming there is some sort of environment issue going on here, any ideas?
