I recently updated my ST3 build, and have noticed that it now writes to files set as read-only without any complaints. Previously it wouldn’t successfully save, prompting me to do some useful actions to make the file writable. This is all happening on Ubuntu, and ls -l on the relevant files gives -r–r--r-- for those that should be read-only and -rw-rw-r-- for those that should be rw.
