Okay, so I’m completely new to this and in my attempt to learn coding, I purchased Sublime 2 because I’m trying to follow along with the instructor, but upon saving the document it reads “unable to save / index.html”

I have no idea what to do. I noticed that my mac is running as OS X, 10.8.3 and the program says I need at least a 10.6 or 10.7 so does that mean I’m over the requirements?

I’m not up to date with tech lingo so please go easy on me.

It sounds like you’re trying to save a file to a folder where you don’t have write permission. Try saving to your home folder instead.
