Scroll bars too dark, how do you make them lighter?

#1

Hi,

I’d like to use the iPlastic color scheme, but the scroll bars and status bar are still unnecessarily dark. When my monitor is in bright light, I can’t read it. Please could you show me how to fix this?
I found the “scroll_bar_overlay”: “enabled” setting, but the status bar is still dark and I do like to see the scroll bar when I’m not scrolling.

Thanks!

Richard

Same problem here, I can’t see whether the command output is scrolled to the top or not. The scrollbar dragger is too dark to see it on Ubuntu. Anyone know how can make them brighter?

There’s some discussion of possible workarounds here:

Thanks a lot. Now I’ve replaced ~/.config/sublime-text-2/Packages/Theme - Default/normal_thumb_vertical.png with something brighter and this works.

My pet grumble (as a Windows ST3 user) is that there are no arrows (top/bottom) on the scroll bar to allow scrolling by single lines.

ST has custom scroll bar implementation, so yes, there are no arrows.
