Delay in Ctrl+X [SOLVED]

Delay in Ctrl+X [SOLVED]

Postby alberto_lara on Tue Oct 08, 2013 6:14 pm

Hi, I don't know if report this as a bug because maybe my system is the problem but, here's the issue:

When I try to cut text I have to wait like 10 seconds to see it disappear and I don't know why is this :(
Just in case, I'm using Manjaro Linux 0.8.7 x64 (based on ArchLinux) with XFCE, kernel 3.8

Many thanks and sorry for the bad English.

I'm sorry for not answering quickly (problems with my internet connection). I didn't get any plugins, it's the original installation. I just add a snippet and a build system.

Did you test it with different File-sizes? On big files editing is very slow.
Also, what Filetypes did you test this on? Try different Types and normal Text.

I tried in different languages (Java, C, Lua, HTML, etc), in small and large files but the result was the same, fortunately, seems that the problem was the clipboard manager which comes with XFCE (Clipman), I removed it from the startup list and the problem is gone :)
