meaning of DLE in command+P filename search

meaning of DLE in command+P filename search

Postby skenner on Tue Mar 18, 2014 11:31 am

I was getting a routing error for a web app that points to a certain file. Deleting the file and recreating it seems to be the only fix. When I command+P filename search the file a box with the letters DLE is appended to the filename and the extension. See the following screen grab: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zrak2novs2wx2 ... 2%20AM.png

Please advise if there is any additional information that you may need. Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Best,
santana

I'd say you pressed some weird key combination when you saved that file.

Renaming the file doesn't do the trick?

For some reason .. I was unable to rename the file in finder (I did not try to do so in the app). At which point i just del and recreated it. Works fine now. Was just looking for some clarification if there was some to be had. Thanks much for the speedy reply.
