downloading the app should be pretty straight forward, right?

well, when i try to download the osx file from either of the download pages:

sublimetext.com/2
sublimetext.com/3

it just hangs.

tried a few times over the last 24 hours.

is there something up with the download server?

i tried from another computer in my network, chrome said ‘oops, couldnt connect’

i checked your server status for c758482.r82.cf2.rackcdn.com . (got this server address from the download link)

said the http is working but there is a problem connecting to ftp

Generally, there is no firewall or antivirus issue with my machine in downloading files, have downloaded files from sites such as Github both today and yesterday.

any ideas?

The CDN is only for HTTP-Downloads.
I would advice you to clear your DNS cache, reboot and try again.

On windows open a cmd and run “ipconfig /flushdns” and then reboot.

All downloads work for me fine at the moment so I suspect some weird problem on your end.

Late yesterday, the downloads became available. However, your forum became unavailable, even though your homepage was viewable.

My first thought that your server was subject to some type of service denial attack.

Who knows? Maybe it was some type of unstable digital black hole
