I’m tweaking a theme I’m using, I have styled the Mini Map’s viewport to my liking, but I’m having difficulties finding the setting to reduce the opacity of the minimap’s background. It would also work to completely hide it, but I’d prefer a subtle shade.

Without the option to make it transparent, it “cuts” some lines of text and doesn’t make it easy at a glance to understand if it is the end of the line or if it’s the minimap on top.

Any tips appreciated

I would also love to be able to set the minimap’s transparency. I recently started using the “ToggleMinimapOnScroll” package, and it can be jarring to see the minimap pop in and out. Ideally there could even be a fade-in transition animation. My understanding from this StackOverflow post is that this would require the Sublime HQ team to implement something, and cannot be done via plugin.
