when i use html, and i start typing it automatically suggests tags, which is great and i use it all the time but it leaves an extra < so i always have to delete it example.
if i want to do i will type <b and then it will give a list of suggestions and i press enter on the body tag it will leave me with this <</body and if im going fast i forget to always go back and delete the extra <. is there anyway i can stop it from doing that? im using sublime text 3. thank you for your suggestions

Sounds like a plugin causing the issue. Have you installed any plugins for tag completions or similar?

i think i have on this one, i was on a different linux before so im not sure what i installed on sublime in this linux vs the other one ill check.
