Sublime recently stopped allowing me to paste into the save dialog using the keyboard shortcut (cmd+v). I can still Edit > Paste. Other application save dialogs work just fine.

Any suggestions where I might start looking?

I just wanted to add that I’m still experiencing this today. Build 3207.

It is a real joy kill, when you’re getting in the flow of things.

have you tried Ctrl+L then Ctrl+V?

This will happen if you rebind Cmd+V to something other than paste, presumably via installing a plugin that does this.

In a vanilla install of Sublime Text, Cmd+V will paste in the save dialog.

I was about to say that it doesn’t work but seems like if you rebind the action “paste” to say ctrl+v (on Mac) you have to also put in an entry for super+v. Drove me crazy because even if you don’t have the super+v line it will still paste into the editor.

Anyway, hope this helps someone in the future.
