When I open a project that contains files on a drive that is not currently mounted, those files are removed from the project.
I am assuming this is some kind of automatic cleanup that gets rid of deleted files. (At least, I hope it is, because otherwise it’s a bug.)
In my case, though, I’d like to turn it off. I have projects that include files on a remote machine, mounted over SSH. If the connection drops and before I realize it’s dropped, I switch projects, then I lose files from the newly opened project. (Or if I don’t have the remote drive mounted, and I accidentally choose the wrong project from the project switcher.)
Is there a setting to turn it off? I’ve scanned the settings file for “remove”, but found nothing that looked relevant.
