I like to work with sublime in fullscreen mode. The problem I have is that whenever I cmd-tab to switch between applications and then return to sublime I always have to mouse-click to put the focus on the sublime window before I can begin to type. This never happens in windowed-mode. I should also say that I use sublime 3 on Yosemite. All help is appreciated!
Tabbing to fullscreen sublime lacks focus

This happens to me all the time on the Ubuntu (14.10) version of build 3065. It doesn’t matter whether it’s full screen or not, when I alt-tab back to Sublime it doesn’t get focus or come to the front.

I found a solution to my problem. It works perfectly if I set the “use_simple_full_screen” to true. This way sublime gets the focus when tabbing.

@sleepyfox: I don’t see this problem in Linux Mint Mate or Cinnamon editions, so I’m guessing the issue you’re seeing in Ubuntu may have something to do with Unity.
Also I don’t see this issue on Windows.
