I have just been prompted to update the release, and have updated to release version 3083. The version I was previously at (on the website when I originally downloaded in December, from last August? - approx 3063).

This has just broken my latex development.

• I have ‘latexing’ installed.

• The first line of my file is:

• % -*- program: xelatex -*-
  

• When I first hit crtl-B to compile, I was offered a list of choices I didn’t recognise; and picked one of them.

• Don’t know what that was about???

• The compilation of the latex source now fails since the log file tells me I am now running pdflatex rather than xelatex

• This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.5-1.40.14 (MiKTeX 2.9) (preloaded format=pdflatex 2014.12.4) 29 MAR 2015 19:52

• I have commands in my latex source which require xelatex

What to do?

And to reply to my own comment in the absence of any other suggestions …

A reinstall of sublime text and latexing has cured the problem Now just to stick back in the licence keys and the other packages I had previously installed.
