hi, if someone could help me with that please -
when i try to style a html file with a css file - as i start to type something in the css file, it recognize it as a simple normal text, colored black… and not as an element. so i cant style anything and it simply doesn’t work because of that.
for example - if i type in the css file something it would look like this:

“h1 {color: blue;}”

and not like that

“h1 {color: blue;}”

it means that the program treats everything i type as a text and not as an element that i can work with.
can someone help me with that it drives me crazy and i looked all over the internet for a solution and also here -
didn’t find any.
so all the styling/css “department” is irrelevant for me at the moment - and i cant continue ofcuorse…
